100% Sangiovese, single vineyard

Harvest

late September-early October, when full phenolic and technological maturity is reached in Sangiovese grapes.

Vinification

vinification in vertically open tonneaux with manual punching down and alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts; then carries out malo-lactic fermentation in steel tanks.

Aging

In second-passage barriques for 12 months.

Tasting

Ruby red color with intense notes of red fruit and violets characteristic of Sangiovese. In the mouth it is full and persistent with tannins present for its youth but never excessive. Savory, vinous and with good acidity it leaves a fruity aftertaste of great overall pleasantness.

Pairings

goes well with all red meats and with fresh and semi-mature cheeses.
